SMS with Twilio"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Twilio SMS is a <a href=\"http:\/\/wappointment.com\/addons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">premium addon<\/a> for Wappointment, you will need to get a licence in order to make it work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have <a href=\"http:\/\/wappoblog.lndo.site\/docs\/install-addon\/\" data-type=\"docs_wappo\" data-id=\"92\">installed your licence<\/a> and have the addon installed, you will need to configure it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Getting your Twilio account ready<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Twilio is a paid service, with 2 costs you will have to take into account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Purchase of a phone number with a monthly charge (<a href=\"https:\/\/support.twilio.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/223182908-How-much-does-a-phone-number-cost-\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/support.twilio.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/223182908-How-much-does-a-phone-number-cost-\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">cost of a Twilio phone number<\/a>)<\/li><li>Credits spent per SMS sent (see the costs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/sms\/pricing\/us\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/sms\/pricing\/us\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">based on your country<\/a>)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So first of all you&#8217;re going to need to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/try-twilio?promo=UmbK3C\" target=\"_blank\" type=\"URL\" id=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/try-twilio?promo=UmbK3C\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow sponsored\" class=\"broken_link\">create a Twilio account<\/a>, if you have one already, simply login.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>In a new window <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Login to your Twilio<\/a> account<\/li><li>First thing first, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/console\/phone-numbers\/incoming\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.twilio.com\/console\/phone-numbers\/incoming\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">buy a phone number<\/a>, without a phone number you cannot send SMS with Twilio <\/li><li>Then make sure you have sending credits available<\/li><li>Then go to <a href=\"https:\/\/console.twilio.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twilio&#8217;s Console<\/a><\/li><li>From that page you will get the credentials you need <strong>Account SID<\/strong> and your WordPress site:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>head to <strong>Wappointment > Addons<\/strong><\/li><li>Scroll down to Twilio SMS<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Run Wizard<\/strong> button<\/li><li>A popup opens with some credentials to be entered.<\/li><li>Copy and paste the credentials you got in the previous step <strong>(<strong>Account SID<\/strong> and <strong>Auth Token<\/strong>)<\/strong> <\/li><li>Then your active phone number will appear in a dropdown, simply select your active phone number.<\/li><li>Finally check the checkboxes in order to activate specific SMS
