{"id":91,"date":"2021-10-14T10:44:30","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T10:44:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wappoblog.lndo.site\/?post_type=docs_wappo&#038;p=91"},"modified":"2022-03-17T10:36:30","modified_gmt":"2022-03-17T10:36:30","slug":"common-email-issues","status":"publish","type":"docs_wappo","link":"https:\/\/wappoblog.lndo.site\/docs\/common-email-issues\/","title":{"rendered":"Common email issues"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sending emails can be tricky, and it is by far one of the most common issue reported by our users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>No emails are being sent or received<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When this issue occurs, you can safely conclude that your sending method is not working well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It could be that your sending method is not able to send with the default from Address set in your sending method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So you can either <a href=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/configure-email\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reconfigure your email sending method<\/a> with a method of your choice or simply go for the easy solution and configure <a href=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/sendgrid-api\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SendGrid with Wappointment<\/a>. This is our number one recommendation, it will just work 99,9% of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Email reminders late or never received<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are receiving confirmation emails but you are not receiving reminders? Then that\u2019s probably because you have an issue of background scheduled tasks not being executed. You\u2019ll need to <a href=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/wp-cron\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/wp-cron\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">setup a CRON task<\/a> on your WordPress site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>The From Address does not match a verified Sender Identity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are getting the following error:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background\">POST https:\/\/api.sendgrid.com\/v3\/mail\/send resulted in a 403 Forbidden response: {\"errors\":[{\"message\":\"The from address does not match a verified Sender Identity. Mail cannot be sent until this error (truncated...)<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an issue that will arise when trying to send with SendGrid with an unverified From Address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to solve that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Check the <strong>Sender Authentication<\/strong> section in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/sendgrid-api\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/sendgrid-api\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SendGrid&#8217;s configuration guide<\/a><\/li><li>And check the section <strong>Changing the sender email or From Address<\/strong> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/configure-email\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wappointment.com\/docs\/configure-email\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">email configuration guide<\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"template":"","tags":[],"uagb_featured_image_src":[],"uagb_author_info":{"display_name":"Ben","author_link":"https:\/\/wappoblog.lndo.site\/author\/"},"uagb_comment_info":0,"uagb_excerpt":"Sending emails can be tricky, and it is by far one of the most common issue reported by our users.
